Q presides over the Winter Wonderland event in Star Trek Online
DECEMBER 8, 2020 - Q is returning to Star Trek Online, as the annual winter-themed event, Q’s Winter Wonderland, kicks off today.
Players of all levels can take part in the special event, which runs now through January 7th on both PC and console platforms. By participating in winter-themed minigames, you can earn yourself cool new weapons and gear, festive vanity accessories, and for the grand prize, you can save up to earn a free playable ship: the Tier 6 Fek’Ihri Gok’tad Carrier.
Fans who have played Star Trek Online will already be familiar with the ridiculousness and wonderfulness of the Winter Wonderland minigames. Choose from Klingon Ice Fishing, battling hordes of snow-Borg, or defend the Gingerbread Village from the Snowman Overlord. And listen: the prizes you can earn are really something special. Here are a few:
Earn a purple nanopulse Discovery-era bat’leth - yes, it’s a neon-purple, glowing bat’leth. Which will surely strike fear into the hearts of melee enemies all across the quadrant.
Earn rainbow scarves, sweaters and jackets - deck your character in the pride of the season.
And if a pet is more to your liking: adopt a St. Bernard. He can’t fight with you, but he will look adorable not doing it.
