JUNE 9, 2023 - Paradox Interactive and developer Nimble Giant Entertainment have joined forces under license from Paramount Consumer Products to bring fans an exciting new addition to the world of gaming: Star Trek: Infinite.

This grand strategy game, set a few decades before the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation, invites players to take command of an entire fleet and explore the depths of the iconic sci-fi franchise. Star Trek: Infinite is scheduled for release on PC and macOS this fall, promising an unparalleled gaming experience for Trekkies and strategy enthusiasts alike.

In Star Trek: Infinite, players will assume the role of a fleet commander within the vast expanse of the Star Trek universe. With a choice of four major powers at their disposal—the United Federation of Planets, Romulan Star Empire, Cardassian Union, or Klingon Empire—gamers will embark on a journey through the cosmos, shaping the fate of their chosen civilization. Each faction comes with its own set of distinct traits, engaging stories, captivating quests, and much more, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the rich lore of Star Trek.

Intricately designed, Star Trek: Infinite promises to challenge players with difficult choices and offer a unique gameplay experience as they engage in strategic battles with other empires and worlds. As players navigate the depths of space, they will encounter various species and civilizations, each with its own motives, strengths, and weaknesses.

"It is an honor to bring one of entertainment’s most iconic properties to life for our players and Star Trek’s multigenerational fanbase,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive. “We know how much this franchise means to fans all over the world, and we are working closely with Nimble Giant and Paramount Consumer Products to create a faithful and fulfilling game that lives up to their expectations."

More information about the game will be announced on Picard Day, Friday, June 16, so stay tuned!
