APRIL 20, 2022 - As fans gear up for the May 5th premier of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the Paley Center for Media in New York City is rolling out a special month-long exhibition honoring the franchise. The Visionary Universe of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is coming to the Paley Center April 27th - May 29th…Along with your chance to attend a special advance screening of the first two episodes.

According to the Paley Center website, visitors will have the opportunity to see Star Trek history through a series of “Starfleet and Vulcan uniforms, set pieces including the USS Enterprise, artwork, video clips, and more”. There will also be screenings of all of your favorite premier episodes from Star Trek series, including The Original Series unaired pilot episode “The Cage”. Daily screenings start at 12:10 pm ET.

Weekends in May are jam packed with family friendly fun! Children can take part in building Star Trek crafts, with opportunities to screen episodes of Star Trek: The Animated Series and Star Trek: Prodigy. The word on the street is that there are a few “surprise guests” due to make an appearance, too!

On Sunday, May 1st, the Paley Center will be holding a special preview screening of the first two episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, “Strange New Worlds” and “Children of the Comet”. If you ever wanted to be able to say “I saw it first!”, this is your chance.

There are a couple of ways to join in the fun. Becoming a member of the Paley Center guarantees you free admission for you and a guest, along with “priority early access, once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences, and more”. Reservations for museum access can be made any time, with tickets ranging from $16-20. Children under 12 enter for free.

Registration for the May 1st Star Trek: Strange New Worlds preview screening is currently open to members of the Paley Center. General reservations will open to the public Sunday, April 22nd. Visit paleycenter.org for more information.
