Get A Virtual Look Around the Enterprise-D Bridge
APRIL 24, 2023 – Sometimes taking a stroll around the hotel or convention floor can help bring some closure at the end of a favorite con. Now that Star Trek: Picard is over, if you’re in a funk, perhaps it would be therapeutic to take a stroll around the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D.
Paramount Plus announced on Twitter last week the opportunity to do just that virtually. Santa Clara Studios housed the recreated set used in Picard, and you can view a 360° view of the bridge from which we were taken on so many adventures.
Oh, and don’t worry about the plywood and lack of a starfield on the viewscreen. Picard production designer Dave Blass helpfully explained in a comment that the viewscreen is showing a Holodeck version of a soundstage.
By the way, if you’re not currently a Paramount+ subscriber, we’ve got a special deal for you. Click through the link below and, when signing up for the service, enter the promo code PICARD for 1 month free! Offer ends on 4/30/23.
