Hallmark Gives Mirror Universe Scotty the Holiday Treatment

SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 - It’s been three years in the making, but we are now closing in on completing the series of Mirror Universe Keepsake ornaments from Hallmark, which was previewed earlier this year.
First up of the last two Storyteller ornaments is Lt. Montgomery Scott, and TrekCore has a review. The Scotty ornament follows up Kirk, Sulu, and Uhura, which were released in 2020, and Spock and Chekov, released in 2021. Scotty is wearing a dagger, phaser, and, of course, a gold sash, and he is striking a contemplative pose.
Each of the character ornaments contains audio from the episode and will play back lines from the episode on their own — but when brought together, the ornaments will communicate with each other with built-in radio technology to replicate scenes from the episode where those characters interacted. Lights and audio require the separately purchased Keepsake Power Cord.
Scotty and the rest of the Storyteller ornaments are available to order now, and the last ornament in the series, Dr. Leonard McCoy, is due out in October.
