NOVEMBER 18, 2020 - Throughout 2020, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Star Trek fans have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: Voyager. And now, that celebration is about to get a bit bigger, with the upcoming release of a new book to commemorate the series, Star Trek: Voyager - A Celebration. StarTrek.com recently published a lengthy segment from the book to whet your appetite ahead of next week’s launch from collectibles company Hero Collector.

Star Trek: Voyager - A Celebration is the latest work from noted Star Trek aficionados Ben Robinson and Mark Wright. According to StarTrek.com, the new book will bring together more than 30 new interviews with the Voyager cast, writing staff, and department heads. Each section of the book is designed to break down various facets of producing the show, such as the main cast, important episodes, different alien species, and the various departments involved with production.

A trip to StarTrek.com reveals “an abridged version of the Seven of Nine profile” which has been selected from the book for early publication. The profile serves to explain the integration of Seven of Nine into the Voyager storyline, as well as the logistical challenges of producing a likable character for the audience. The excerpt is fully stocked with ideas and memories from actor Jeri Ryan and Executive Producer Brannon Braga and proves to be an enlightening, in-depth read. If the rest of the book is just as thorough, audiences are sure to be pleased.

Star Trek: Voyager - A Celebration is set to be released on November 24th. You can preorder it now from Amazon.com or wherever you get your books.
