Master Replicas Offering Sale of the (24th) Century on Eaglemoss Starships Before Removing Them From Website
In 2022, Star Trek fans were dismayed when Eaglemoss, creator of smaller-then-lifesize starships, declared bankruptcy. Ben Robinson, who worked for the company, kept the world up-to-date on the developments as they were happening. Last year we reported that Master Replicas was selling off the remaining stock of itsy bitsy starships. Over the past 15 months, that’s just what they’ve done, but now that ship is about to have saled.
According to Robinson, who describes himself as “basically a creative director” for Master Replicas, MR will be losing the license for the Eaglemoss starships on June 17. That means, as I’m writing this, you have 10 days to snag one (or several.) Do you covet a Kobayashi Maru or USS Shenzhou to call your own? Maybe you need a Deep Space Station K-7 or Jupiter Station to complete your set of space stations. You can find them at the Master Replicas website.
Master Replicas also has a limited stock of signed starships, like Star Trek: Lower Decks’ shuttlecraft Yosemite, signed by show creator Mike McMahon, or an XL version of Deep Space Nine signed by Kira Nerys herself, Nana Visitor.
“There’s still stock out there,” Robinson admits, but ”this is the last chance to go to one central place.” In other words, if you go to eBay, who knows which ships you’ll find or how much it will cost you.
But that’s not the only reason to grab a starship from Master Replicas. They’re running a fantastic “5 for 3/3 for 2” deal. So you can pick up the ships that are missing from your collection without breaking the bank!
Once the ships are gone, though, Master Replicas won’t be through with Star Trek. They are already in the stages of licensing new products. Do you remember when Master Replicas released a plush version of Lower Decks fan favorite bone-eater Moopsy? Well, they’ll be re-releasing that, along with plush replicas of other characters from Lower Decks and Prodigy. Those, along with a multitude of other Star Trek products, should keep fans of the franchise coming back to Master Replicas, even after the company’s stock of Eaglemoss starships is depleted.
DSTN will be covering all the new launches as they’re announced, but if you want to get in on the sale of the (24th) century, you need to move at warp speed. As I write this, there are only 10 days left to complete your collection via Master Replicas. So beam over to MasterReplicas.com and get what you need before this starship has saled. While you’re there, you can sign up for their newsletter in order to be among the first to know when new products are announced. There may also be a contest announced soon, so stay tuned to DSTN and the MR newsletter for more.
