MEME REVIEW MONDAY: Wedding Plans, a Collection of Datas, and the Dangers of Super Glue

NOVEMBER 6, 2023 - Hello and welcome back to another Monday Meme Review! This is a week full of fan submissions. I know you’ve been waiting all week for this so let’s jump right in.

First up we have a meme sent to me by my friend Carmen (hi Carmen!!).

This meme is a classic. It’s in a pretty old meme format so it’s probably at least a couple of years old. I do love the concept, implying that Spock was PLAYING with super glue instead of actually using it.

Next up we have a meme that my friend Syd (hi Syd!) sent me this past Wednesday.

I really love that it is Sisko in this meme. It makes me wonder under what circumstances Sisko would ever say “Jesus Girlboss Sparkle on!” Honestly, I’m not sure I ever want to see that circumstance. Regardless, this is very good advice and you should take it!

Next up we have a fan submitted meme that is frankly so so painful for me.

I hate this meme so much I love it. Picard’s facial expression is absolutely perfect. I believe that is Hugh in the background which I love. Hugh’s plot is one of my favorites in Star Trek and frankly, I would engage him.

Next up is a meme from @socialistsinspace (which is a wonderful username) on instagram.

This is so relatable to me and I’m sure a lot of other Star Trek Fans. I still have yet to watch Cabinet of Curiosities, Loki Season 2, What We Do in the Shadows, and any of the new Wes Anderson shorts, all things I know I would love. Why would I watch anything new when I can just watch Star Trek?

Next up is a meme from @campyalien on X.

I love this meme. It’s very silly. Sarek, my brother in Christ, did in fact make the sandwich. Reg is one of my favorite people on Twitter and if you want some absolutely amazing Star Trek content I highly, highly recommend checking out her page.

Next up we have a meme from @trekcasttng on Instagram

This meme made me giggle. I sent it to a bunch of my computer science friends who like Star Trek (aka all of my computer science friends) and they all found it very silly and I take that as evidence that this meme is 100% accurate to how computers work.

Finally we have the meme made by yours truly.

I seriously do not know what I am going to do with my Thursdays. What is the point of tolerating Wednesday if not to get to Thursday?

Ok that’s all I have for you today! I can’t wait to see you next week!
