DECEMBER 12, 2021 - With a new ship and a new crew, the spring of 2022 will see the release of Star Trek: Resurgence, a new, interactive narrative video game from Dramatic Labs to be made available for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Information on the new game, as well as the official trailer, were posted to startrek.com.

The game follows the crew of the U.S.S. Resolute, with players assuming two character roles throughout. Set just after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation, players will join “First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz as they unravel a sinister mystery involving two alien civilizations on the brink of war. Throughout the game, players will immerse themselves in the Star Trek Universe, interacting with new and returning characters through a variety of dialogue and action gameplay to determine the course of the story.”

Players will make decisions affecting the story while following along from a third-person perspective. A look at the trailer shows the crew of the Resolute facing challenges on and off the ship. Along the way, expect to see some familiar faces. Spock makes an appearance, with more fan favorites expected.
