Our heroes are busy chasing the clues that will lead them to an incredible secret. This week, on the way to the next clue, the U.S.S. Discovery is sabotaged by a mysterious weapon, leaving Captain Burnham, Rayner, and Stamets as the only crew members who can possibly save the ship in time.

The fourth episode of season five, “Face the Strange,” drops this Thursday, April 18, on Paramount+. “Face the Strange” was written by Sean Cochran and directed by Lee Rose. Cochran has writing credits in each of the other four seasons of DISCO and one for Star Trek: Short Treks. Rose has directed four other episodes of Star Trek: Discovery.
