Preview Star Trek: Discovery S4 episode 8 "All In" with new images and a new trailer

Saru (Doug Jones) and Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) in Star Trek: Discovery, episode 4x08, “All In”
FEBRUARY 7, 2022 - Time flies, unless you’re waiting for the next installment of a Star Trek series. The good news is that in a mere two days, Star Trek: Discovery returns from its midseason hiatus, and we have some photos and a trailer to share.
When last we saw our heroes, let’s just say that controversial decisions have been made by some, while others are making decisions of discovery and self-discovery. And there is still that anomaly whose nature is yet to be … discovered. Well, that is the name of the show, after all.
This week, according to ViacomCBS, Captain Burnham, following a hunch, tracks Book to an old haunt from their courier days and gets drawn into a high-stakes competition for a powerful weapon. Hence, apparently, the title of the episode: “All In.”
In the photos for this week we see Federation President Laira Rillak; a pair of images of Saru and Captain Burnham, the latter picture showing Saru being his usual supportive self; Captain Burnham, arms folded, in conversation with Admiral Vance; and Admiral Vance himself. You can also see a bit more of what is in store in the trailer below.
Episode eight of season four of Star Trek: Discovery drops this Thursday, February 10, on Paramount+.
