OCTOBER 17, 2023 – Welcome to week eight of season four of Star Trek: Lower Decks!

In this week’s episode, “Caves,” the Lower Deckers go on a classic cave mission. “Caves” was written by Ben Rodgers and directed by Megan Lloyd. Rodgers was Story Editor on the first season and Executive Story Editor on the second season of Lower Decks. He wrote the first season episode "Crisis Point," the second season episode "Mugato, Gumato," and the third season episode "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus." He also voices Lieutenant Commander Steve Stevens.

Loyd directed this season’s second and fifth episodes, "I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee" and "Empathological Fallacies."
