NOVEMBER 15, 2021 - Star Trek: Discovery season four is nearly upon us, as the season premiere is slated for this Thursday, November 18th on Paramount+. When we last left our crew at the end of season three, Captain Burnham and the U.S.S. Discovery were on their way to helping rebuild the Federation. Now, it seems as though their mission might not be as straightforward as they expected.
Here’s the official description for the first episode of season four, “Kobayashi Maru”: “After months spent reconnecting the Federation with distant worlds, Captain Michael Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery are sent to assist a damaged space station – a seemingly routine mission that reveals the existence of a terrifying new threat.” The episode is written by executive producers Michelle Paradise, Jenny Lumet and Alex Kurtzman, and directed by veteran Discovery director Olatunde Osunsanmi.
