Star Trek: Discovery is Heading to PaleyFest New York
The cast of Star Trek: Discovery is coming to PaleyFest New York, this October.
PaleyFest is a yearly television festival hosted by the Paley Center for Media. At PaleyFest, stars and producers from popular TV shows host panels and Q & A discussions, and all the events are open to the public - ticketed, of course. From the PaleyFest website: “Enjoy a screening followed by a discussion with your favorite stars live onstage, capped off by a Q & A with the audience. Named for William S. Paley, founder of CBS and The Paley Center for Media, proceeds from PaleyFest support his mission to serve as a nonprofit cultural and educational resource in television, radio, and new media.”
The Discovery panel is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th, at 7pm. That’s during New York Comic Con, for those of you attending. It will be held at the Paley Center for Media, 25 West 52nd Street, in New York City, about 2 miles from the Javits Center. Appearing in person will be the production team of Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, and Michelle Paradise, as well as series stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Mary Wiseman, Anthony Rapp, Wilson Cruz, and newcomer David Ajala.
Tickets for the general public are $50 and go on sale this Friday, September 20th. Paley Center members and Citi cardholders are eligible for early access and discounts. Head to paleycenter.org for details.
