Spock the science officer!
Spock the captain!
Now, get ready to add a new title to the famous Vulcan’s list: Spock the storyteller.
There’s a video up at StarTrek.com of the latest Mr. Spock, reading an old Star Trek story. Ethan Peck, who played Spock in season two of Star Trek: Discovery, walks kids of all ages through the Little Golden Book Too Many Tribbles.
A retelling of the Original Series episode “The Trouble with Tribbles”, Too Many Tribbles is a short read. In fact, the bar fight from the original episode may have taken longer than Peck’s read of the book, which clocks in at just under three-minutes. The story is faithful to the original episode though, the illustrations are great, and Peck’s read is fun - engaging for kids, with just enough tongue-in-cheek for adults.
At under three minutes, it’s well worth giving it a look. To do otherwise would be...silly.
The Little Golden Book Too Many Tribbles is now available in Kindle or hardcover from Amazon.com, or wherever you get your Little Golden Books.
