Superhero Comic Con: Thursday, June 20 – Sunday, June 23

Chris Pine (Fri & Sat), Peter Weller (Sat & Sun), and Lea Thompson (Sat & Sun) are scheduled to appear at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Halls in San Antonio, Texas. Head over to PMS Events for more information.

Beyond Re-Animator: A Jeffrey Combs Retrospective: Friday June 21 – Saturday, June 22

Exhumed Films presents a two-day marathon featuring some of the actor’s greatest performances and most popular features. Jeffrey Combs will be present both days to introduce the films and talk about his career. The event takes place at the Colonial Theatre, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Washington State Summer Con: Friday, June 21 – Sunday, June 23

Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Ron Perlman (Sat & Sun), Brent Spiner (Sat & Sun), Dee Bradley Baker, and Ed Speleers (Sat & Sun) will be on hand at the Washington State Fair and Events Center, in Puyallup, Washington. Washington State Summer Con has all the skinny.

The Regular Stuff

·These are the X and Mastodon watchalongs:

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

·Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

· The Observation Deck features a free series of online Star Trek watch parties, with episodes chosen from across the franchise. Set course for The Observation Deck for all the details, including the schedule and to sign up.
