Getting Ready for Picard’s Reunion: Classic Episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation: Wednesday, February 15 – Sunday, February 19

The Paley Center for Media in New York is screening eight classic episodes of TNG now through Sunday. Screenings are included with admission. Head over to the Paley Center for details and to buy tickets.

Virtual Trek Con 4: Thursday, February 19 – Monday, February 20

Join your hosts Ryan T. Husk, Cirroc Lofton, and Malissa Longo along with a plethora of Star Trek on- and off-screen talent, scientists, and other cool people for the virtual convention, including the LLAPy Awards. Get all the details at Virtual Trek Con.

FanExpo Portland: Friday, February 17 – Sunday, February 19

Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, William Shatner, Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Christopher Lloyd, Ron Perlman, Gates McFadden (all Friday and Saturday), and Lea Thompson (Saturday only) are scheduled to appear at FanExpo, taking place at the Oregon Convention Center. Get the skinny at FanExpoHQ.

Days of the Dead Las Vegas: Friday, February 17 – Sunday, February 19

Hearkening back to their Hellraiser days, join Andrew Robinson and Terry Farrell for this horror convention, taking place at the Plaza Hotel and Casino. All the details are at Days of the Dead.

Gallifrey One: Friday, February 17 – Sunday, February 19

Yep, this is a Dr. Who con, but that doesn’t mean folks like Chase Masterson, Casey Biggs, Steve Rankin, Eric Pierpont, Bill Blair, David Gerrold, the Benson sisters, and Larry Nemecek, among others, won’t be there. FanExpo Vancouver: Saturday, February 18 – Monday, February 20

Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden (all Sunday and Monday), and Peter Weller (all three days) are scheduled to appear at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Hit up FanExpoHQ for all the details.

 The Regular Stuff

·These are the Twitter watchalongs:

o   #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

·Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

·But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

·To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Picard season three viewing parties each Saturday, beginning February 18. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties / fundraiser benefits also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise. ·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows. ·Ongoing through May 4, 2023, the Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the immersive exhibition Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination. Visit the Science Museum for more information and to order tickets.

·Ongoing through October, Starship Edsel is a Star Trek inspired farce set aboard the Federation Starship Edsel towards the end of the 24th century. It is based upon a LARP written and developed by Brandon Brylawski, who is also a producer and head writer on this show. Performances take place at the Otherworld Theatre, in Chicago.
