The Shuttlepod Show Live: Friday, February 10 – Saturday, February 11

Missouri Comic Con: Saturday, February 11 – Sunday, February 12

Star Trek: Picard Advance Screening: Monday, February 13

Get a look at the premiere of the final season of Picard before it drops next Thursday. Patrick Stewart, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes and Gates McFadden will also be present and in conversation with Josh Horowitz. William Shatner and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11

There are two opportunities to join William Shatner for a screening and discussion of TWOK this weekend, one at the Count Basie Center, in Red Bank, New Jersey and the other at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey. The former event begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and the latter at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Hailing Frequencies Open Speakers Series: Sunday, February 12

Dawnn Lewis hosts a panel discussion from the Nichelle Nichols Foundation, featuring scientists discussing “How Star Trek Inspired Me to Be a Scientist” and how science fiction is becoming science fact. The Regular Stuff

·These are the Twitter watchalongs:

o   #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

·Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

·But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

·To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Picard season three viewing parties each Saturday, beginning February 18. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties / fundraiser benefits also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise. ·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows. ·Ongoing through May 4, 2023, the Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the immersive exhibition Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination. Visit the Science Museum for more information and to order tickets.

·Ongoing through October, Starship Edsel is a Star Trek inspired farce set aboard the Federation Starship Edsel towards the end of the 24th century. It is based upon a LARP written and developed by Brandon Brylawski, who is also a producer and head writer on this show. Performances take place at the Otherworld Theatre, in Chicago.
