Mark your calendars for this weekend’s Star Trek events

A Conversation with Actor and Activist George Takei: Thursday, October 21, 2021

George Takei will be speaking as part of the University of Rochester’s Difficult Conversations as a Catalyst for Change series. The event will take place both virtually via Zoom and in person at Strong Auditorium on the Rochester campus. Registration is free but required. For all the details, head over to Rochester.edu.

FedCon: Friday, October 22 – Sunday, October 24

FedCon will be taking place Friday through Sunday at the Maritim Hotel Bonn, in Germany. Guests include Isa Briones, Emily Coutts, Sara Mitich, Anthony Rapp, Patrick Kwok-Choon, Sonequa Martin-Green, Blu del Barrio, and David Ajala, who are all scheduled for the entire weekend. FanExpo Canada: Friday, October 22 – Sunday, October 24

William Shatner (Fri-Sat-Sun) and George Takei (Sat-Sun) will be appearing at FanExpo Canada, which runs October 22-24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. See FanExpoHQ.com for further information.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
