D&D Celebration 2021 – Thursday, September 23rd – Sunday, September 26th

On Friday, September 24th (that’s tomorrow!), Noah Averbach-Katz, Anthony Rapp, Blu del Barrio, Mary Wiseman and Ian Alexander will be live streaming a Dungeons & Dragons game for D&D Celebration 2021, with special guest Wil Wheaton. The live stream will be at 11am PT/2pm ET on YouTube and Twitch. The entire virtual event runs from September 23rd through 26th, and more information is available at D&DCelebration.com.

GalaxyCon Guests of Star Trek – Saturday, September 25th

Join another GalaxyCon virtual Q&A on Saturday, this time with Star Trek guest stars Sean Kenney, Bobby Clark, Mariette Hartley, Tanya Lemani, Beverly Washburn, and David Frankham. Virtual Lecture: How Star Trek Changed the World and Why It Still Matters – Tuesday, September 28th

Intellectual historian Dr. Amy H. Sturgis will be presenting a free lecture via the Taylorsville (Utah) Library at 9pm ET next Tuesday. Registration is free and the details are at EventBrite.com.

Writers LIVE! with George Takei – Wednesday, September 29th

Next Wednesday, Maryland Libraries presents a conversation with George Takei on his life and work. The event is both in-person and virtual, and registration for either is free with additional cost for a signed book. The conversation begins at 6:30pm ET. Visit EventBrite.com for the details.

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • To Proudly Go is hosting a recurring in-person Star Trek: Lower Decks viewing party on Saturdays at 6pm ET in New York City.

They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
