Star Trek: Fleet Command celebrates cross-platform debut on PC with chance to win Borg Cube ATX computer
SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 - The award-winning MMO game Star Trek Fleet Command, which has been transporting mobile players to the bridge of their very own starship in a test of strategy and combat skills since 2018, has launched on PC in a much-anticipated cross-platform debut. A press release from game designer Scopely broke the news on Tuesday, announcing:
“The PC launch of Star Trek™ Fleet Command gives fans even more ways to personalize the adventure through a true cross-platform experience. Smooth cross-progression enables players to seamlessly transition between devices and play from the palm of their hand or their at-home battlestation without missing a transmission.”
The energy of the moment was captured in a video which dropped on Tuesday via Fleet Command’s official YouTube channel, featuring crews from Star Trek: The Next Generation, the Kelvin timeline films, and The Original Series facing off to the driving beat of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream” and the dramatic promise: GALAXIES WILL COLLIDE.
To celebrate the launch, Scopely is offering PC recruits special bonus items for beaming up, including:
A cross-platform resource bundle for PC newcomers and existing mobile players who link their accounts to a PC
Unique avatars and frames
PC-exclusive sales on in-game resources and extras.
