STAR TREK GIFT GUIDE: Our Recommendations Of What To Give the Trekkie In Your Life This Holiday Season
NOVEMBER 28, 2023 - With the holidays just around the corner I know everyone (including myself) is scrambling to get their loved ones the perfect gift. Well look no further, this list is perfect for those with a loved one who happens to like Star Trek just a little too much (if that’s even possible). Here are 10 great holiday gifts for that special Trekkie in your life. You can click the Images of each product to order them.
Quark’s Bar Glass ($30)
This officially licensed (dishwasher safe) Quark’s Bar glass is the perfect gift for any DS9 fan. When drinking from this glass they will be teleported to the promenade.
Klingon Dictionary ($17)
This official Klingon Dictionary is perfect for your favorite battle-hungry Trekkie. They can now carry this dictionary around with them so at any time they can insult their enemies with the most epic Klingon insults in the world. Imagine someone cuts them in line at their local coffee shop and they just mutter “Hab SoSlI' Quch!” (your mother has a flat forehead).
Star Trek Toys from Bluebrixx (€7-€220)
So Bluebrixx are essentially German Legos and they have an official deal with Star Trek, meaning that if you want amazing and officially licensed Star Trek toys they’re the place to go. You can get a whole multitude of ships in a range of sizes and prices and you can also get some great communicator and phaser models (I own their TOS communicator model and it’s great). They are based in Germany so you should order now if you’re hoping to have the gift here before the holidays.
Officially Licensed Star Trek Merch from Heroes and Villains ($4-$120)
Heroes and Villains sells amazing high-quality nerdy merchandise, including Star Trek. If your Trekkie is stylish they’ll love everything from this store. It’s sleek and high quality while also staying true to Star Trek. I own their Enterprise Storyboard tee and their Klingon Empire denim jacket. Both are amazing and some of my favorite clothes. I plan on doing a lot of my Christmas shopping here.
8 Inch Gorn Plushee ($17)
This adorable little Star Trek plush is the perfect snuggly friend for Star Trek friends of all ages. This plush is cute and soft (and not nearly as terrifying as the SNW Gorn), the perfect gift for any TOS fan.
Vintage Starship Plans ($20-$200 depending on size)
These 6 prints are perfect for any Trekkie you know who is in desperate need of wall decor. They’re nerdy yet perfectly aesthetic. The sizes range from 8x10 to 24x36, so they’re perfect for houses of all sizes. In addition, by buying these prints you’ll be supporting a small business!
Collectible Star Trek Rubber Ducks ($15-$25)
These are the perfect gift for the trekkie that has everything. I have no clue why these were made but they are wonderful. The Data duck is holding Spot, the Riker duck is playing the trombone, the Janeway duck is drinking coffee, and the Scotty duck is holding tribbles. Star Trek merchandise really doesn’t get better than this.
2024 Star Trek Calendar ($16)
A Star Trek calendar is a perfect, practical gift for any Trekkie. They come in a range of styles and themes. My personal favorite is the Cat Calendar, you really cannot go wrong with cats. However, there is also a Starship, TNG, TOS, LOW, DISCO, and SNW calendar if that’s more your style.
Star Trek x Rocklove Jewelry ($60-$135)
Though these gifts are more on the expensive side they’re definitely worth it. Rocklove makes amazing, top-of-the-line, officially licensed jewelry. They’re perfect for cosplayers and fashionistas alike. Their jewelry is the perfect way to show your special Trekkie how much they mean to you.
Spock Socks ($9)
These hilarious socks are the perfect gag gift for any Trekkie with a sense of humor. Their 3D ears are sure to draw attention whenever worn. They are also sure to put a smile on the recipient's face when they open them. Overall: a very cute and fun gift.
Ok that’s all I have for you guys today! I hope this was helpful in all your gifting endeavors! Happy Holidays!!
