Star Trek Online is set to infiltrate the Mirror Universe in "Stormfall" starring Kate Mulgrew and Mary Wiseman
APRIL 8, 2022 - The news from Star Trek: Mission Chicago is underway with an announcement from Cryptic Studios, developer of Star Trek Online, the free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
During a panel at STMC moderated by Amy Imhoff, the team of developers revealed that Stormfall will be the next major update to the game since Shadow’s Advance earlier this year. Following up on the last episode, “Red Shift,” Stormfall takes players on a rescue mission in the Mirror Universe alongside epic characters, including Admiral Janeway (Kate Mulgrew from Star Trek: Voyager), Admiral Leeta (Chase Masterson from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and an Andorian rebel named Rae-Yeet (Noah Averbach-Katz from Star Trek: Discovery). Together, they will stop Terran forces led by the dreaded Captain Killy (Mary Wiseman from Star Trek: Discovery), from reawakening a dangerous nemesis.
Stormfall also introduces a new 5-player ground Task Force Operation and a special event that allows players to earn a new reward for playing through the latest content. In addition, a complete remaster is expected of the tutorial experience for the Starfleet faction. This upgraded tutorial will not only provide players with a smoother experience, but will also be updated with new environments, plus more interaction with the Borg and Admiral Janeway.
Stormfall, the 26th season of Star Trek Online, is expected to drop on May 10 for PC and for consoles in June. Visit Star Trek Online to join the mission.
