Star Trek: Picard's blu-ray release will include a limited edition steelbook and tons of special features

AUGUST 23, 2022 - A gag reel from a season involving dystopia, death, and the Borg Queen?
Well, yes, and that’s just one of the special features coming your way when Star Trek: Picard season two hits those 12-centimeter discs that physical media fans know and love. In short, the second ten episodes and lots of special features are coming to DVD and Blu-ray next month.
The official Star Trek website has shared the news that the latest season of Picard is coming to DVD, Blu-ray, and a limited-edition Blu-ray Steelbook. The collection includes all the episodes plus over an hour of exclusive, never-before-seen featurettes, deleted scenes, and that gag reel. The featurettes include deep dives into such aspects of the show as the creation of the USS Stargazer, the redesign of Picard’s chateau, the newest embodiment of the Borg Queen, and Picard props.
The collections will be released on October 4 in the US and in other regions around the world beginning November 14.
