Star Trek: Prodigy Nominated For An Emmy Award

NOVEMBER 4 2022 - The awards and nominations for Star Trek keep coming in.  We turn our attention now to Paramount+/Nickelodeon’s Star Trek: Prodigy. The breakout animated show has been nominated for a Children’s and Family Emmy!

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) have announced the nominations for the first annual Children’s & Family Emmy® Awards.  The awards will be presented on Saturday, December 10 (Creative Arts) and Sunday, December 11 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. 

These awards are the first standalone expansion of the Emmy Award competition since 1979.

There are 50 categories that are being awarded for various achievements.  The category and competition that Prodigy is up against is;

OUTSTANDING ANIMATED SERIES

  • City of Ghosts

  • Netflix

  • The Cuphead Show!

  • Netflix

  • The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder

  • Disney+

  • Star Trek: Prodigy

  • Paramount+

  • A Tale Dark & Grimm

  • Netflix
