Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is First on 4K Disc
FEBRUARY 15, 2023 – The visuals on the new Star Trek shows have been amazing since the first episode of Star Trek: Discovery, and now for those equipped to take advantage of it, one of the shows is getting an additional 4K treatment.
Alongside the DVD and Blu-ray release of season one of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a physical 4K edition of the season is also on its way, according to TrekCore. The steelbook edition is the first time a Star Trek series has appeared on 4K disc, and it is expected to have all the special features scheduled for the DVD and Blu-ray release.
The 4K release is due out May 16 and can be preordered now from Amazon.
