Today in Star Trek history: Michael Dorn’s birthday! Plus a sneak peek at his new film, Agent Revelation

(L-R) Michael Dorn as Worf in Star Trek, and as Alistair in Agent Revelation

It was today, December 9th, back in 1952 that actor Michael Dorn was born. Best known for playing Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Dorn has also appeared in a huge variety of voice acting roles, as well as a recurring character on the drama series Castle.

And early next year, Dorn will once again be hitting screens, starring in the upcoming action-packed science-fiction film Agent Revelation. In the film, Dorn plays Alistair, opposite the film’s writer, director and star, Derek Ting, who plays Jim Yung. The plot centers around Yung, a rejected CIA analyst who has been exposed to a mysterious dust that turns him into a super-soldier. When a secret organization works with him to discover why aliens have returned to Earth, the truth comes at a price.

In addition to Dorn and Ting, Agent Revelation also stars Kayla Ewell (Roswell, New Mexico and The Vampire Diaries), Eve Mauro (The Oath), and Teo Briones, who Star Trek: Picard fans might recognize as Isa Briones’ little brother.

Agent Revelation is premiering on demand from January 22, 2021, from Quiver Distribution.
