MARCH 22, 2022 - The journey into the past continues this week in “Watcher” on Star Trek: Picard, which airs Thursday, March 24th. We have a handful of still images from the upcoming episode to share, along with a trailer to bring you right into the action.

The official teaser for “Watcher” reads, “With time running out to save the future, Picard takes matters into his own hands and seeks out an old friend for help. Meanwhile, Rios ends up on the wrong side of the law and Jurati makes a deal with the Borg Queen.”

While the images may lead you to believe Picard is alone on 20th century Earth, nothing could be further from the truth. With Rios (Santiago Cabrera) locked up and the Watcher out there…somewhere, Picard continues to search for answers. A look at the trailer posted to StarTrek.com shows Raffi (Michelle Hurd) and Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) on a wild ride in a stolen police car in an effort to help their friends, and themselves.

“Watcher” was written by Juliana James and Jane Maggs, based on a story by Juliana James and Travis Fickett. The episode is directed by Lea Thompson, following up on the previous episode “Assimilation”, which Thompson also directed.

“Watcher” premiers on Paramount+ Thursday, March 24th. The first and second seasons of Star Trek: Picard are available to stream now. Download the Paramount+ app or visit paramountplus.com to learn more and subscribe.
