JANUARY 25, 2021 - CBS All Access has already started making the transition to Paramount+.

ViacomCBS announced last week that their new international streaming service, Paramount+, would be launching on March 4th. And as of this past weekend, they’ve already started making changes. According to Comicbook.com, during this weekend’s AFC championship football game, the service debuted the start of its new marketing push, with a 30-second spot highlighting some of the best that Paramount+ will have to offer. But the video wasn’t all: some existing CBS All Access social media accounts were rebranded too, a move likely to continue over the next month as we gear up for the launch.

The CBS All Access Twitter and YouTube accounts are already gone, both apparently having changed into Paramount+. The CBS All Access Facebook page is still there (as of this story), but it’s got a pinned post pointing to the new Paramount+ page.

But back to that promo video!

You can watch the new Paramount+ promotional videos on any of their social media channels. The video that premiered during the AFC championship is part of a series called “Paramount+ Expedition”, which features stars of key Paramount+ shows climbing Paramount Mountain, all narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart. The first spot features, among others, Jeff Probst and James Corden, Dora the Explorer and Beavis and Butthead, and Star Trek’s own Anson Mount as Captain Pike and Ethan Peck as Spock. The short promos highlight the diversity of Paramount+’s content, with a little humor thrown in.

Paramount+ debuts in the United States, Canada and Latin America on March 4th, with Nordic countries and Australia to follow later in the year.
