EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Julie Nimoy and David Knight On Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy and Making Films

JANUARY 25, 2023 - Julie Nimoy followed in her father Leonard’s footsteps in that she became a filmmaker, producing a number of films with her husband, David Knight. I had the opportunity to talk with Julie about growing up in the Nimoy household and her career, which included working with her dad on projects like Star Trek II. David joined us to talk about their films, including Remembering Leonard Nimoy: His Life, Legacy and Battle with COPD.

He may have been the last professional Stage Manager to work with Leonard Nimoy, has worked Off-Broadway and regionally, and is the union Stage Manager for Legacy Theatre, where he is currently working with Julie Andrews. after which he’ll be working on Richard III at Elm Shakespeare Company.
