Help recover items from the Roddenberry Nexus in Sansar, and win prizes!

Items have been stolen from the Roddenberry Nexus and it’s up to you to find them!

Roddenberry Entertainment have teamed up with Sansar for a virtual reality scavenger hunt, all centered around the virtual Roddenberry museum, called “The Roddenberry Nexus” in Sansar. Sansar is a VR community where you can create worlds and host events, and the Roddenberry Nexus is a special space full of rare items and Star Trek memorabilia that you can examine, walk around, and even pick up.

Now through September 21st, it’s your job to find up to 25 objects that have been removed from the Roddenberry Nexus and hidden in different Sansar worlds. Maybe you’ll find a Klingon disruptor in the forest, or a Gene Roddenberry action figure on the beach. You’ll collect points for the objects you find, and the players earning the top points will get rewarded with real-world prizes like an Oculus Rift or iPad, with runners-up receiving Amazon gift cards. To help you find the objects, the official Sansar Twitter account will be posting clues three times a week.

Sansar is best enjoyed with a VR rig, but it isn’t required. You can use Sansar with an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, or any PC that meets the hardware requirements. Sansar is free to download and play, but you will need to create a free account, and you can do that at sansar.com. That’s also where you can find out more about the different worlds in Sansar, and how to dive in.
