IDW Announces a New Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Comic Tie-In

SEPTEMBER 22, 2022 - Star Trek: Strange New Worlds fans certainly went on a ride in season one. In addition to the return of an episodic format, we saw our heroes’ rise, fall, and redemption. Just when our stalwart Captain Pike came to terms with his future and decided to move forward ‘boldly’, we were left with the arrest of Number One for her genetic modifications.
It’s still going to be a long wait for season two to land back on our streaming devices, however, the creative team at IDW Publishing has something special in store for us that will not only hold us over but help us get the answers we seek. A new comic, The Illyrian Enigma, will see Pike on a crusade to prove Una’s innocence.
The creative team consists of Kristen Beyer and Mike Johnson who will write the series and will be joined by artist Megan Levens. The team has been responsible for the previous tie-in comics with the Trek series.Here is the official announcement for the upcoming books:

Thaddeus Tuffentsamer is an internationally selling author. His books have been sold in the US, the UK, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Italy, and France. He has a series of young reader novels, a satirical self-help book, (which, according to reviews, actually has some pretty solid counsel), and has joined the list of professional Sherlock Holmes authors.

He spends his days working in healthcare administration and in his evenings, in between plans for becoming “Lord Emperor of everything,” he types away at his keyboard letting his imagination out for the world to read.
He is fortunate to have a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters. He currently lives in Goodyear Arizona with his wife.
