JANUARY 25, 2022 - Our heroes aboard the USS Protostar have been on the run from the Diviner and toward Starfleet under the tutelage of Hologram Janeway. They have faced the hard, if simulated, lessons of the Kobayashi Maru and the all-too-real life lessons that only temporal anomalies can throw at a starship crew. Tars Lamora, the planet back in the Delta Quadrant from whose prison colony they escaped with the Protostar, might even have almost appeared to be a distant memory. Not so fast.
According to this week’s official logline, the crew forgo their dreams of Starfleet to return to Tars Lamora in a no-win scenario, in episode nine of Star Trek: Prodigy, “A Moral Star, Part 1.”
No-win scenario, you say? Apparently, this one is not going to be a simulation. And according to the images below from the episode, Zero and Murf, Dal and Hologram Janeway, and Gwyn and the Diviner will be caught up together in this latest challenge.
You can catch up on the first eight episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy, streaming now on Paramount+. This week’s episode will be dropping there this Thursday, January 27.
