Preview Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3, Episode 9, "Trusted Sources"

OCTOBER 19, 2022 - Captain Freeman and the USS Cerritos have had their share of news coverage, what with the events involving Pakled Planet and all. Apparently, there is still something newsworthy going on in this week’s episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks.
In season three’s penultimate episode, “Trusted Sources,” a visiting reporter on the Cerritos puts Captain Freeman on edge. In the images from the episode, it looks as though the reporter is tagging along on an away mission, and Captain Freeman isn’t always happy with the results.
“Trusted Sources” was written by Ben M. Waller and directed by Fill Marc Sagadraca. According to Memory Alpha, this is Waller’s first Lower Decks writing credit, and Sagadraca previously directed “Mining the Mind’s Mines” and “Hear All, Trust Nothing,” both from the current season.
This week’s episode drops as usual on Thursday, on Paramount+, CTV Sci Fi Channel in Canada, and on Prime Video in many other regions.
