Star Trek: Discovery’s final season release on DVD, Blu-ray, and an exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook will hit shelves on Aug. 27. The release will offer fans not just a conclusion to the epic saga of Captain Michael Burnham and her crew but also a treasure trove of behind-the-scenes content.

According to reports by StarTrek.com, the release promises to dazzle with "incredible action sequences and truly breathtaking visuals." Fans can expect a comprehensive package that includes all episodes from the final season along with nearly two hours of special features. These features, designed to enrich the viewing experience, include featurettes, exclusive audio commentary, a humorous gag reel, and much more.

The final season sees the return of Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham alongside key cast members such as Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and Wilson Cruz. New adventures await them as they unravel a mystery that takes them across the galaxy in pursuit of an ancient power, hidden for centuries and now sought after by both heroes and formidable foes.

This release not only marks the end of Star Trek: Discovery but also commemorates the series as a whole. Alongside the final season, Star Trek: Discovery: The Complete Series will be available, offering all 65 episodes and over 15 hours of special features including a bonus disc that provides an unprecedented look through all five seasons with insights from the cast and crew.
