Star Trek: Discovery season 4 is reportedly in “active development”

Star Trek: Discovery season 4 may very well be in the works.

According to a report from SpoilerTV.com, “It appears that CBS All Access have quietly renewed Star Trek: Discovery for a 4th Season in advance of it's Season 3 Premiere. As per Production Weekly, Season 4 Production is under ‘Active Development’.”

Production Weekly is a trade publication that lists production details for active film and television projects across the globe. In its issue from Thursday, January 9th, 2020, it has a listing for “STAR TREK: DISCOVERY 04 (w/t GREEN HARVEST)”. “Green Harvest” was the original working title for Discovery, back before we knew there was a Discovery, in late 2016.

CBS All Access have made no official announcement about a fourth season of Discovery. Season three is in production now, however, and is expected to air in the late part of early 2020.
