Watch the premiere of Star Trek: Picard at The Star Trek Original Series Set Tour
The first new Star Trek series since Discovery premieres in a couple of weeks. If you’re looking for a special place to catch it, just hop aboard the Enterprise. Well, the set of the Enterprise. Okay…a recreation of the set of the Enterprise!
The Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga, New York is holding a premiere event for Star Trek: Picard. “On Thursday, January 23rd,” the location invites visitors to “join Set Tour creator James Cawley for his Insider tour [...] including a special viewing of Next Generation costumes and props.” The tour kicks off at 6pm. Then - it’s on with the show. Right after the tour, the site says, “ticket holders are invited to join James and the crew on the Bridge for a free viewing of the premiere of PICARD.” That should start around 8pm.
If you can’t make it midweek, you do have a second chance. Cawley and company will do it all again on Saturday, the 25th of January, with a tour staring at 1pm and an encore presentation of Picard immediately after.
Space is limited - on the bridge that is. Interested parties are encouraged to grab their tickets early at the tour’s site: startrektour.com.
