Star Trek events: Thursday, October 1st - Wednesday, October 8th, 2020
Ah, it’s finally October. The month of pumpkin spice raktajino, cellular peptide cakes in the shapes of pumpkins, and all the little neighborhood children dressing up as Q for Halloween. Too bad you can’t tell what their costumes are because Q look just like the rest of us!
But before we get there, let’s check out some other virtual Star Trek events to get you through the weekend.
Trekkie Feud with J.G. Hertzler and Garrett Want, presented by Gaaays in Spaaace - Thursday, October 1st
First up, this evening, Gaaays in Spaaace presents Trekkie Feud, which looks like a Family Feud-alike, complete with two teams: Team “Chancellors” led by J.G. Hertzler, and team “4Ever Ensigns” led by Garrett Wang. The event kicks off at 8pm ET tonight, and you can find out more, including how to watch, on the Gaaays in Spaaace Facebook page.
GalaxyCon Live: William Shatner - Saturday, October 3rd

The Bardo, with Nana Visitor and Alexander Siddig - Saturday, October 3rd
Also on Saturday, but starting a little later at 10am PT, B5 Events is back with Star Trek guest actor and stuntman Patricia Tallman having a special conversation with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine actors Nana Visitor and Alexander Siddig. This event promises to be more impactful than most normal Q&A-type events; Tallman promises in the description, “Sure, the nerding out is awesome! Then, however we get to the whole purpose of B5Events, I ask my guests to share something that they do that gives them hope in these divisive times, that inspires them, that keeps them going. I ask them if they have had a break down like I did, or as I see it now, a break THROUGH. And what happened? How did they heal? We go deep!”
Nana Visitor chose the name of the event, “The Bardo”, and tickets are required. General admission is $39.99, and there’s a VIP option that includes a private party for $149.99. For more information on the event, including how to purchase tickets and watch on the day, visit b5events.com.
In-House Con Star Trek Universe 2.0 - Saturday, October 3rd
The Saturday shenanigans continue next with In-House Con, featuring actors from across the Star Trek Universe, from 12pm PT. On hand for the Q&A will be Ronny Rowe, Jr. (Lt. Bryce, Star Trek: Discovery), Damon Runyan (Ujilli, Star Trek: Discovery), Jason Matthew Smith (Cupcake, Star Trek: Into Darkness), and Jennifer Barlow (Ensign Gibson, Star Trek: The Next Generation “The Dauphin”).
There’s a $2.99 virtual door charge for attendees, which gets waived if you choose to purchase a one-on-one chat or signed 8x10 photo. For more on the event, visit inhouse-con.com.
