The Orville is Coming to San Diego Comic Con
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from The Orville’s production team but we should be hearing more shortly. Disney just announced that The Orville will be hosting a panel at San Diego Comic Con.
First things first - yes...I said Disney. The Orville airs on the FOX Network, but if you recall, Disney took control of 21st Century Fox back in March. Which means that Disney now owns The Orville, as well as some of FOX’s other big shows, including The Simpsons. But I digress.
The blog RedshirtsAlwaysDie.com posted that the SDCC panel will be held on Saturday, July 20th, in Ballroom 20. According to the piece, the panel “will include [Executive Producer Seth] MacFarlane as well as Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Jessica Szohr, J Lee, Mark Jackson, and Chad L. Coleman. In addition producers David A. Goodman, Jon Cassar, and [Brannon] Braga will also be in attendance.”
We can expect plenty of discussion about the recently-completed season 2, and a preview of season 3, which is likely to premiere in early 2020.
