There’s still time to enter the Star Trek: Discovery costume contest for a chance to attend the virtual premiere of season 3

OCTOBER 5, 2020 - Listen up, Trekkies! If you’re interested in going to the Star Trek: Discovery season three virtual premiere on October 14th, you’ve still got a chance to do so. It’s time to break out your best costumes for the Discovery Costume Contest.

If you’re a U.S. resident, then you can submit a photo and/or video for a chance to win a digital ticket to the event. If you head to discoverycostumecontest.com, you’ll be redirected to a Google Form with all the details. It’s no purchase necessary, and there are resolution and file size requirements for entry. You’ll need to submit a minimum of two photos OR one 30-second video for a valid entry, and you should note that some winners’ submissions could be featured in the event itself. There don’t appear to be restrictions on the type of Star Trek costumes you can submit, so don’t feel limited to just Star Trek: Discovery.
According to the contest rules, “If you win a digital ticket to the Virtual Premiere Event, the event content is being shared exclusively with you, and will be a special sneak preview of season 3 before anyone else.”
The deadline for entries is this coming Sunday, October 11th, at 9pm ET. However, the rules say, “please plan to get your photos and/or video in early as entry submissions are limited.”
