APRIL 17, 2022 - The meticulously overhauled Star Trek: The Motion Picture - Director’s Edition will be heading to theaters next month for a limited engagement from Fathom Events. Tickets are on sale now!

If you ever wanted to see Star Trek: The Motion Picture in the theater, this is your chance. Better still, you’ll be able to see the newly remastered 4K Ultra HD Director’s Edition of the film, with Dolby Vision HDR tuning to enhance color. An added Dolby Atmos soundtrack gives viewers a “three-dimensional” audio experience. 

In September of 2020, Titan Books released Star Trek: The Motion Picture: Inside the Art and Visual Effects from authors Jeff Bond and Greg Kozicki. With more than 27,000 high resolution photos from the production to work with, along with numerous first-hand accounts, the 176 page book offers an intimate look at the expansive and groundbreaking production of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. 

A Director’s Edition trailer was released recently, giving viewers a sneak peak at what to expect from the updated cinema classic.
