It was today, October 14th, back in 1998 that the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season 7 episode “Afterimage” first aired. In the episode, new crewmember Ezri Dax is having difficulty adjusting to life on Deep Space Nine, and by helping Garak with his claustrophobic panic attacks, finds some way to peace herself. This was only the third episode featuring Ezri Dax, and it helped set up her character to be a main one for the rest of Deep Space Nine’s final season.
