CBS All Access releases more stills from Star Trek: Discovery season 3 premiere
OCTOBER 13, 2020 - Star Trek: Discovery season three premieres this Thursday. And as CBS All Access ramps up their marketing push, they’ve released new stills from the first episode, “That Hope is You, Part 1”.
In a piece on StarTrek.com, CBS All Access showed off ten stills, some of which are similar to what we’ve seen before, and some of which are new. There don’t look to be any spoilers here, and there’s no Discovery crew, either. These pics only follow Michael Burnham (played by Sonequa Martin-Green) and her new companion Book (played by David Ajala). Oh, and few alien races as well, including an Andorian and a Lurian (like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Morn).
As you’d expect leading into a season premiere, there’s not an awful lot to be gleaned from the new stills, except that Michael Burnham does some stuff with Book. After their vessels crashed in the footage we saw last week, they clearly team up and go on to meet some others. And that’s about it, except to say that the first episode is a part one of two.
If you’re looking forward to the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery season three and you haven’t yet done it, it’s worth catching up on the latest trailer and sneak peek footage from last week’s New York Comic Con panel; you can find both of those videos in the “Newsworthy Videos” playlist on the Daily Star Trek News YouTube channel. That’s at youtube.com/dailystartreknews. Otherwise, don’t forget to refresh your memories of seasons one and two; season one is on CBS or streaming on CBS All Access, and season two streams exclusively on the latter.
