William Shatner Partners With Orange Comet On a Brand New Project

MAY 1, 2023 - Orange Comet, a web3 game and entertainment company, recently announced a partnership with Star Trek icon William Shatner to create a digital collection titled "Infinite Connections." 

The collection was unveiled on April 27 at Consensus 2023 and featured a total of 3,500 unique 1:1s, broken down into two exclusive collections: "William Shatner Cosmic Explorer" and "William Shatner Timeless Voyager."

Shatner, best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk, has made headlines in recent years for traveling into space. Even at 92 years old, the actor continues to be a champion for space exploration.

"It's no secret that I have an immense love and passion for the new and the unknown, and this collection is a testament to that," he said. "Infinite Connections" reflects William Shatner's insatiable thirst for discovery and his belief that everything in the universe is interconnected. The collection will have a keen focus on scientific phenomena and earthly elements as a thought-provoking and inspiring journey into the universe. 

The first collection, "William Shatner Cosmic Explorer," features a 3D avatar exploring quantum physics, magnetic frequencies, and mathematical theories, as well as various earthly elements. Accompanying each NFT is a physical action figure portraying Shatner as Kirk in his command chair, hand signed and inscribed with one of five different sayings by Shatner.

The second collection, "William Shatner Timeless Voyager," features highly detailed 2D art exploring the wonders of the universe and beyond, along with unique IRL opportunities for select holders. Each piece is illustrated with futuristic technology and celestial phenomena, inviting collectors on a boundless journey of exploration and discovery.
