Zachary Quinto Talks About His Love for Leonard Nimoy on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Even though Star Trek 4 seems like it might never happen, Zachary Quinto still has strong ties to his Spock predecessor, the late Leonard Nimoy.
UPI.com brought us the story last week that in a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Quinto talked about his love for Nimoy and that his 2018 rebooted series In Search Of was a way to honor him.
Quinto is currently making the publicity rounds for NOS4A2, AMC’s horror miniseries that premiered last week. On Jimmy Kimmel Live! the conversation turned to In Search Of. It was originally a docu-series hosted by Rod Serling and Leonard Nimoy in the late 1970s. Of the reboot version, Quinto said, "I felt like it was a way to honor [Nimoy] and stay connected to him.”
Of Nimoy himself, Quinto said, “I love that guy so much. [...] We were so close and always you know talked about not just the role and the experience that we shared on Star Trek but life and our curiosity, and he was endlessly curious until the end of his life.”
A second series of In Search Of, according to Quinto, is on its way, and his current show, NOS4A2 airs Sundays on AMC.
