Zachary Quinto Would Love to Work With Quentin Tarantino
The idea of a Quentin Tarantino-led Star Trek film doesn’t appear to be going away any time soon.
Last week, in an interview with Empire Magazine, Tarantino confirmed that a script for the theoretical film exists, and that if he were to make it, “it’ll be R-rated.” Hot on the heels of that interview, Zachary Quinto - who is making the rounds promoting AMC’s NOS4A2, weighed in on what he thinks about the whole business.
UPI brings us the story of an interview that Quinto did with The HFPA in Conversation podcast, published last Wednesday. Of the prospect of a Tarantino Trek film, Quinto said, “What an amazing experience that would be not only for us, but for fans and for audiences to see his take. [...] [Quentin Tarantino]’s just an undisputed genius filmmaker and amazing storyteller. And I think to give his perspective on these characters and this world would be a delight for everybody involved and everybody who got to experience it.”
Quinto was quick to add, “We're really open to it, and I know conversations are being had, but not with me at this point, so we'll see what happens.”
