BREAKING: Dr. Mohamed Noor and Jayne Brook to Release New Episodes of STAR TREK Science Show BIOTREKKIE
It’s been some time since we’ve had new Star Trek to watch, but this Thursday, April 4, will change that with the release of the first two episodes of the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery. The following Sunday Trek fans will get an extra treat with the release of a new episode of “BioTrekkie with the Admiral.”
The show, hosted by Dr. Mohamed Noor (Science Consultant, Star Trek: Discovery) and Jayne Brook (Admiral Katrina Cornwell, Star Trek: Discovery) first launched in 2021, coinciding with DISCO season 3 and continued during season 4. In the videos, Noor and Brook alternate in the roles of teacher and student in order to teach real-world biology concepts from two perspectives: science (Noor) versus acting and production (Brook).
Noor and Brook anticipate releasing videos every other Sunday, beginning on April 7, covering a pair of DISCO episodes each, and if they remain true to form, each episode will run approximately 30 minutes.
The video announcement of the new season of “BioTrekkie” is out now on YouTube and if you’d like to get caught up on the previous seasons, you can leap across the mycelial network to their YouTube channel.
