Destination Star Trek Germany has been delayed until summer 2021
Destination Star Trek Germany has just announced that it is postponing its event in Dortmund until next summer. The event, which was due to take place in early May, was already rescheduled to early October, and will now take place June 25th through 27th, 2021. The organizers cited “government restrictions” as the reason for the delay.
In a statement yesterday, the Destination Star Trek team said they still plan to center the event around Voyager’s anniversary, adding, “it’s not fair that we were not all able to celebrate it properly this year and we know they are still really looking forward to seeing you, as you are them!” The organizers are also planning to add more guests from across the franchise.
Fans who have already purchased tickets will find their tickets valid for the new dates automatically. If you happen to have purchased a ticket and cannot attend the new dates, you will be issued a voucher that you can use at any Destination Star Trek event or product through the end of 2022, after which point, they will issue refunds.
It’s also worth mentioning that while organizers have announced the delay of Destination Star Trek Germany for this year, Destination Star Trek London, which is currently planned for November 13th - 15th, is so far unaffected.
