If you bought the Star Trek: Picard season 1 part 1 soundtrack, you can get the rest of the season 1 soundtrack free. Here’s how
Last week, I told you about the Star Trek: Picard season one soundtrack that landed on Friday. That was the followup album to the season one part one soundtrack that was released earlier this year. Well, it turns out that the release of the complete soundtrack ruffled a few Star Trek fans’ feathers!
It appears as though fans who had purchased the Star Trek: Picard season one part one soundtrack had been expecting to be able to purchase just part two. Instead, the only option is to purchase the full season one soundtrack, which would be essentially purchasing half the album twice.
On Friday, composer Jeff Russo took to Twitter to explain the issue. He said, “Regarding the PICARD complete [original soundtrack]. Circumstances beyond my control led to having a complete OST vs chapter 1 and 2...@LakeshoreRecs is working to resolve- the 2nd half will be made available to purchasers of pt1 at no cost.”

True to his word, Russo later retweeted the fix from Lakeshore Records, who said, “For all the #StarTrekPicard fans who purchased @JeffersonRusso's Chapter 1 soundtrack, send in your receipt to completemypicard@gmail.com and we’ll get you a free DL code to get the tracks you’re missing. Deadline: April 17.”

Just in case you didn’t catch that, if you were one of the many fans who purchased the Star Trek: Picard season one part one soundtrack, and were left miffed by your choice to either stump for the full soundtrack or go without the second half, you can get a download code for the second half for free! Just send your receipt for part one to Lakeshore Records at completemypicard@gmail.com by April 17th.
And if you haven’t yet picked up Jeff Russo’s beautiful, 55-track album yet, you can either listen to it in its entirety on your favorite streaming service, or download it from Amazon or other digital sellers.
