MEME REVIEW MONDAY: Klingon Cuisine, Sisko Style, and Alcoholic Transportation

Hello! Happy Meme Review Monday! I hope you all have had a wonderful week. I can’t wait to share all these epic memes with you. Let us begin!

First up we have a meme from @JackTChance0017 on X.

If you’ve read any of my other meme reviews, you know I love puns and goofy photo editing. This meme has both of those. It’s an amazing meme. I appreciate that the logo has been replaced with the Klingon symbol. It’s a fun little touch. I’m sure these cookies would bring glory to my tastebuds.

Next up we have a meme submitted by DSTN fan and friend of our Managing Editor’s Chris Arnold.

I’m not sure why there is so much food in my meme review this week but here we are. I have to say I would much rather eat Gloreos than Gagh Pockets. I think the texture of Gagh simply would not work in a hot pocket.

Next up we have a meme from @USS_Hoboken on X.

I saw this meme right afterI was sent the GaghPocket meme and I thought it was perfect. I’m definitely a member of the Yamok Sauce Gang. I would try Gagh if I had the ability but I can’t imagine I would enjoy it that much. I suppose it’s a lot like spaghetti, however I still don’t think I can get behind it. Yamok Sauce, on the other hand, seems absolutely delicious.

Next up we have a meme from @StacyDmomof5 on X.

This meme really does raise a good question: how much Jim Beam could Jim beam if Jim could beam Jim Beam? I do not know the answer. I suppose the answer is pretty high considering he could just beam Jim Beam all day every day and I assume that would amount to quite a lot of Jim Beams. I think the bigger issue would be the replicator running out of things to make Jim Beams out of. In this situation nothing is going back into the replicator system, it all just gets beamed out. Assuming the replicator is not a limiting factor, in TOS the transporter takes about 14 seconds. I found that number by watching a bunch of clips and averaging the time. Assuming it takes 14 seconds to transport something and that Jim will be beaming Jim Beams for 40 hours a week, Jim can beam about 10,285 Jim Beams a week. The number is probably a bit lower for that as this does not account for the time it takes to pick up a Jim Beam and place it on a transporter pad. Jim Kirk died when he was 60 years old, assuming he began transporting Jim Beams when he was about 10 he has 50 years to do nothing but transport Jim Beams. That means that if Jim does nothing but transport Jim Beams for 40 hours a week every week he can transport a total of 26,741,000 Jim Beams in his lifetime.

Next up we have a meme from @demiboy_dean_winchester on Tumblr.

I audibly laughed when I saw this meme because it is so true. The Starfleet uniforms really do look a lot like the wiggles costumes. Perhaps this means that the wiggles were leading us towards a utopian future and we were too dumb to listen.

Next up we have a meme from @trekcasttng on instagram.

I think I could totally steal his look. I’m already 2/3rds of the way there, I just need a commercial bus seat and I’m set. This meme also made me realize just how epic the patterns on bus seats can be. We always hear about arcade carpets and how cool they are but nobody ever talks about bus seats and how great they are.

Next up we have a meme from @robintreks on instagram.

This is pretty much exactly what happens every time Lwaxana Troi shows up on the Enterprise. One of my favorite episodes is when Riker tells Picard to take a vacation to Risa and he says no, then Troi mentions her mother is visiting the ship and Picard gets off the Enterprise and to Risa as fast as his legs will carry him. I’m thoroughly convinced that Troi and Riker actually planned that together to get Picard to actually take a break.

Finally, we have a meme made by yours truly.

I just rewatched The Search for Spock. When I first watched it I was sick with the flu and I remember thinking it was an absolute fever dream. I didn’t believe that the movie could really be that weird so I decided to give it a rewatch outside of my feverish state. The movie was somehow more absurd when I was lucid. I really don’t know what the writers were thinking when they made that movie. All that being said, I do love The Search For Spock. It’s a really goofy movie and I think Bones is amazing in it.

Ok that’s all I have for you this week. See you next week!
